People read these guides while deciding whether to spend forty thousand dollars and put a hundred-foot structure on their property. That deserves a stated standard.
Articles are researched, drafted and reviewed by the FlagBoxx Editorial Team. We do not invent named experts, and we do not claim engineering review unless a qualified engineer actually reviewed the piece. Where an article is engineering-reviewed, it will say so and name the reviewer.
For anything touching permits, aviation, electrical work, structural engineering, wind or flag rules we work from primary sources — government bodies, standards organisations, published codes and manufacturer documentation. We do not treat another company's marketing claim as a general fact, and we do not use an AI summary as a source. Manufacturer-specific data is attributed to that manufacturer.
Our articles explain principles. They are not engineering, legal or permitting advice for your site. Foundation design, wind zone, permit path and electrical work are site-specific and require a licensed professional. We say so in the articles, not only here.
We change the published date only when an article is genuinely revised. Cosmetic edits do not reset it.
If something here is wrong, tell us through the contact form. Material corrections are made in the article and noted with the date. See the corrections policy.
